Visibly ✌️

Death by PowerPoint remains the primary method of education for deskless workers across the globe, and we have a unique opportunity to redesign education from the ground up for over a billion deskless workers.

Our team is on a mission to make high-quality education available to a billion deskless workers with a vastly improved user experience that's massively more accessible, effective and enjoyable - And that's where you come in!!

As an early member of our design team, you'll be vital in defining Visibly's user experience alongside the Founder.

You will also partner with an incredible group of world-class leaders, engineers and operators to get this experience into users' hands.

In late 2023, we raised one of the strongest seed rounds in Europe, and now, our highest priority is building a team that pushes each of us to do our very best work and care intensely about our team and customers.

What you'll be up to 🚀
  • Partner with the Founder to design how our product vision translates into a fantastic user experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering and learning teams to bring products to life—we ship products within days to a few weeks.
  • Understand our customers deeply and research alternatives so we know the bar and raise it.
  • Work with subject matter and education experts to improve their tools and learner outcomes
  • Lead all design aspects, including research, user journeys, prototypes, wireframes and post-implementation analysis to improve product experiences.
  • Work alongside other team members to instil pride in crafting a user-friendly (and fun) experience across our mobile apps and website to email newsletters and offline events.
Sounds like you? 🙌

You're committed to personal and team development with a learning mindset. You never feel done learning your craft.
Delight & Empathy:
You have empathy for customers and their journey. You deeply understand how customers think. You can accurately predict how changes will make them feel. You enjoy creating delight.
Communication:
You are comfortable and confident sharing your thoughts verbally or written. You can engage constructively in debate and discussion with your colleagues and peers.
Collaboration:
You can partner with a diverse team to achieve business results. You have experience facilitating discussions with Engineers and Founders to drive discovery and decisions.
Appreciation of Quality:
The details and nuances of your work are important to you. You are enthusiastic about your favourite products and can articulate why they're incredible. You are excited to build a premium brand.
Thrive in ambiguity:
You'll often design from scratch with limited data to drive decisions. You take a first-principles approach and ask yourself, what's possible?
Get stuff done:
You have experience shipping MVPs, negotiating trade-offs, and prioritising strategically.
Coaching:
You have some experience leading other designers, including guiding projects and mentorship

We want to get to know you, hear about what you're interested in, and learn about what you hope to do in the future.

We aim to minimise the impact on your time as much as possible.

1. Learn about each other (20 mins)

You won't need to prepare anything in advance. This conversation is to get to know you and explore whether we might be a good fit. You'll learn more about Visibly and have a chance to ask any questions about our company, team culture, and product.

2. Portfolio presentation (20 mins)

This is an opportunity to walk the audience through your portfolio, explain the objective, how you contributed, what decisions you took and why.

3. Product/Design critique (async)

We’ll give you access to our product and ask you to briefly summarise what works, what doesn’t, and how it could be improved.

NOTE: We understand many people may have busy schedules, so we recommend timeboxing this to an hour.

4. Culture and Founder session (20 mins)

We’ll look to understand what you’ll bring to our team culturally and how your approach aligns with our mission and values.

You’ll be working closely with our Founder, Kane, so there’s a great opportunity to chat if you haven’t already.
