Configure how users are identified during import or integration
Org owners can now choose which attribute Visibly uses to identify and deduplicate users when syncing from an external system, moving beyond the email-only default.
You can now control how Visibly identifies unique users during imports and integrations.
In Settings > Data Management, a new "Unique use ridentifier" section lets you pick any attribute configured for your organisation — email remains the default, and any custom attributes appear alongside it.
When you change the setting, a confirmation step makes clear that the new identifier applies to all future imports; existing user records are left untouched.
